We envision this event to be a child-centered Summit that provides opportunities for professional development and networking with keynote speakers, partners, and co-workers through breakout sessions and workshops.

This Summit will be a collaborative effort and inclusive of several state agencies that provide support and assistance to our youngest children and their families.

Participants will include hundreds of dedicated early childhood educators, state and county policymakers, health advocates, and health practitioners who provide valuable services to children ages 0 to 5 and their families.

Attendees will learn new strategies to enhance their partnerships to implement effective changes and improve coordination of services at state and local levels.

Hosted by First 5 California in partnership with the following agencies:

  • California Department of Education
  • California Health and Human Services Agency
  • California Department of Public Health
  • California Department of Social Services
  • California Department of Developmental Services
  • California Department of Veteran Affairs
  • California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office
