PRO0F Quality Data
First 5 California's Results and Evaluation Division is currently developing a new comprehensive database system to improve the tracking and data available on programs serving California's children 0-5.
The PRO0F system will be used as a tool by the First 5 community to assist in gathering data at the county, state, and national level and highlight First 5 California programs by:
- Providing evidence to support policy decisions.
- Providing data for the Annual Report.
- Becoming a tool for program involvement.
- Supporting Signature Program data management and evaluation.
The PRO0F system supports First 5 California's newest Signature Program, CARES Plus. PRO0F will assist counties participating in CARES Plus in the following ways:
- Automation of many elements of Signature Program Management.
- More complete access to county program data.
- Convenient access to county program evaluations.
- Streamlines submission and approval of invoices to state.
Help Desk
Help Desk is one-on-one help from a customer service representative, accessible via email and phone.
Technical Assistance Requests
Make a request for assistance with specific, finite tasks or training related to use of the PRO0F system, such as data entry assistance or additional training.
By late spring 2012, the PRO0F system will replace desired capabilities
currently provided to county commissions through the PEDS system. The
PRO0F County Case and Program Management (CCPM) module will be
configured to provide capabilities previously provided through PEDS. The
PRO0F Project team is working with the CCPM User Group to configure
a system that provides value to participating counties and their grantees.
