First 5 California's Results and Evaluation Division produces a detailed Annual Report to provide Californians with an understanding of the spectrum of health and education services created by First 5 California.
Produced in accordance with State statute and guidelines, the Annual Report focuses on the outcomes achieved by First 5 California strategic initiatives and in our partnerships with First 5 county commissions, state agencies, non-profits, and county entities. The report highlights the funding, skills, and systems used to improve family functioning, child development, health, and systems of care for children 0 to 5.
The Annual Report reflects our learning in more than a decade of research and program evaluation. Today, our emphasis is on quality improvement for caregivers, and demonstrating best practices in program design for children and their parents.
