Thank you to those who attended the 2020 Child Health, Education, and Care Summit on February 3–5, 2020 in Irvine.
During the three days, we had attendees from a variety of backgrounds, inspirational keynote speakers, 13 intensive workshops, 51 topical workshops, 19 exhibitors, and the support of so many generous sponsors (more than ever before)—for which we are very grateful.
We especially appreciate attendees who completed the survey through the new First 5 California events app; your comments will be used to enhance future Summits.
Here’s a sampling of some of the feedback we received from the survey:
“Wow! Everything was fantastic, from the meeting location and proximity to John Wayne Airport and airport shuttle, to the meals (never was hungry once) and the keynote speakers, this was one of the best conferences I have been to in a while. I learned so much and had the opportunity to get some good time in to network with colleagues I work with and those that I have worked with in past. Thank you to the hotel staff and kudos to all involved in the pre-planning and coordinating of the event.”
“Relevant. Inspiring. Critical. Enjoyable.”
“Great job in selecting keynote speakers. All were relevant to this work, humble, and empowering.”
“Thank you, First 5 California, for putting on these amazing insightful events. I am proud to be a part of this work, and I feel very supported by my network across the state. This event was very well organized, and I enjoyed it very much.”
Additionally, an overwhelming number of participants responded that the summit was well organized, and they would attend a future Summit.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to planning the next Summit.Camille Maben
